The Journey.

2003- Gold; 2005- Gold with Honors; 2007- Silver; 2009- Silver;

2011- Gold with Honors
It is amazing to see how our club had grown, from 40 odd to about 60 members, with really enthusiastic and passionate members! Our SYF journey wasn't a smooth and easy one, and i believe all this is possible because of everyone who had worked and fought hard for it; and most importantly, the tremendous work that our graduated seniors had put in during the past few years- they'd built the club strong!

Like what we've always said, it's the process that really matters- sticking together as team, staying till late nights (and climbing out of school) to complete props and set, working intensively with Mr. Wong, the never-ending lectures and talks with seniors. It all paid off.

Cast, I'm glad that you guys found out what the script really meant to you, conveyed the message well, touched people, and most importantly enjoyed the moment on stage.
Crew, you guys were certainly the people in the team that were most important and made all this possible. It know it wasn't easy with all the scoldings,
but I'm thankful that all of you tried your best and gave all that you could, to this production.
Props, make-up & costumes, i thought that it was important for the actors to look good on stage, and i was worried as we had certain constraints. However, you guys really did a tremendous job, thank you!
Thank you team, for the commitment, enthusiasm, and groundedness to this production and i hope & believe that you guys will keep it up!

Most importantly, thank you Mr. Wong, Mrs. Roy, Mrs. Tee, Ms. Chan, Ms.Yamine, Ms. Chia and Ms. Chionh, for your dedication and passion for the club. Thank you for the support and warmth you've gave us!

Like what i said, it wasn't an easy journey. Criticism and comments, i hope you guys took them well and positively, after all we're all pushing each other to become actors, members, or even better people. I believe we touched many people, whether the script or the amount of sheer hardwork and effort we'd put in, continue to believe in whatever you do, be it on stage or off stage, and continue to impact the audience and people around you.

Sec 4 & 5 seniors (Batch of 2007/2008),
It had been an awesome 4 years with you guys, from 'I wish life was a musical' to SYF 09, Rhapsody and finally SYF 2011. We got to know each other better through these productions and i thank you, for all your contributions and work we'd put in together, and also believing in the juniors in this SYF. I think this really is something we should be proud of, and i hope you do! And i believe the juniors will continue our hardwork and traditions!

This is not the end, but just the start for greater things- SYF Night, a probable SYF Drama showcase and a full length play @ The Arts House. Remember the amount of hardwork you've put in this time, and continue it in any productions you do.

"Do you care? Do you want to convince the judges to care too?"
Continue believing in whatever you do and keep the audience thinking!

we don't stop at mediocre. YOU GUYS CAN BE AMAZING

Signing off (for the last time), see you guys around!
